Public Certificates Directory in CyberPass

This guide shows compliance, marketing, and PR teams how to use and navigate CyberPass Public Certificates Directory. It explains how external stakeholders can look up, verify, and review your live security credentials without needing a platform login.

Prerequisites

  • At least one certificate set to Public within your CyberPass workspace ledger.

  • Access to the external, unauthenticated CyberPass landing page.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1 — Navigate to the External Certificate Search Portal

Log out of your active session or open a secure incognito browser window to view the public-facing CyberPass landing page. Locate the central spy graphic illustration and click the Search for certificates button.

Step 2 — Search and Filter the Public Directory

On the public Certify with CyberPass directory page, use the left-hand filter panel to search for records. You can look up items using multiple parameters:

  • Paste a copied identifier into the Certificate Number field.

  • Type a specific target name into the Product field.

  • Search by Provider (Company Name) or specific Standard filters.

Step 3 — View the Public Certificate Drawer

Once the directory ledger updates with the matching certificate record, click the blue View Certificate icon under the Actions column. A public-facing information drawer will slide out from the right side of the screen, displaying the FIDO or compliance standard, specification level, serial number, current status (In Force), and official policy reference URLs.

Key Notes

  • No Authentication Required: The public directory is entirely open-access. Your marketing and PR teams can safely link clients directly to this search portal to verify your compliance posture.

  • Real-Time Data Alignment: The details shown in this public drawer are a direct, real-time mirror of your workspace's certificate ledger. Any updates or revocations internally will reflect here instantly.

Troubleshooting

Issue

Fix

Searching for a specific certificate number yields no results.

The certificate's public visibility toggle may be turned off in the workspace. Have a Workspace member verify that the certificate is turned on under the Public column in the internal Certificates ledger.

Searching by Company Name or Product Name does not bring up our records.

The search filters require exact matching text. Double-check the exact text formatting used in your internal workspace metadata (e.g., matching spaces, hyphens, or apostrophes) and search again.
