Certificates: Managing Issued FIDO Certificates in CyberPass

Updated today

This guide explains how to access, view, and download your official FIDO certificates within the CyberPass platform. Understanding this section is critical for manufacturers to verify their product's compliance status and retrieve official documentation after completing a certification procedure.

Prerequisites

  • An active CyberPass account.

  • A successfully completed FIDO Evaluation Certification workflow (found under the Procedures tab).

  • A PDF reader installed on your device to view downloaded certificates.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1 — Access the Certificates Dashboard

From the main navigation sidebar on the left-hand side, click on the Certificates tab. This will open the central repository for all certifications issued to your organization through FIDO.

Step 2 — Locate Your Product Certificate

Use the list view to identify the specific product certificate you need. You can see the Standards (e.g., FIDO2, U2F), Serial Number, and the current Status.

  • Pro Tip: Use the Search Bar at the top to quickly find a certificate by entering the Serial Number (e.g., FA001...) or the Product Name.

Step 3 — Download the Official Certificate

In the Actions column on the far right, click the Blue Document Icon. This will automatically trigger a download of your official FIDO Certificate in PDF format.

Step 4 — Verify Certificate Details

Open the downloaded PDF to view official details, including the AAGUID, Certification Type, Authentication Level (L1), and the Evaluation Report Date of Approval.

5. Key Notes

  • Automatic Issuance: Certificates only appear in this section once the full workflow in the Procedures tab has been completed and approved by the validator.

  • In Force Status: Only certificates marked as "In Force" are currently valid for market use.

  • No Manual Uploads: This section only displays certificates issued directly via the CyberPass and third-party or external certificates cannot be manually uploaded here.

6. Troubleshooting

Issue

Fix

My certificate isn't appearing in the list.

Ensure the certification process is 100% complete. Check the Procedures tab to see if there are any pending tasks or if the evaluation is still in the "Final Review" phase.

The "Status" says "Expired" or "Suspended."

Contact your Red Alert Labs account manager or initiate a new renewal procedure under the Procedures section to restore the "In Force" status.
