This guide explains how to customize your CyberPass experience by managing user settings, activating powerful AI-driven compliance tools, and tailoring your notification alerts. Setting these preferences ensures you receive the most relevant data and automated support for your product certification journey.
Prerequisites
An active CyberPass account.
Access to at least one Workspace (e.g., Personal Workspace).
A subscription tier that includes AI Assistant features.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1 — Navigate to Workspace Management
From the main Dashboard, locate the workspace section in the top-left corner. Hover over your current workspace name to reveal the dropdown menu.
Step 2 — Access the Preferences Tab
Click on Manage Workspaces. Once the Profile page opens, select the Preferences tab located in the top horizontal navigation bar.
Step 3 — Configure User Preferences
Under the User Preferences card, you can toggle interface elements:
Welcome Section: Controls the visibility of the welcome message on your home screen.
Profile Completion: Displays or hides the status bar for your account setup.
Step 4 — Activate AI Assistant Features
In the AI Assistant Options card, toggle the switches to enable your automated compliance tools:
AI Relevance Check: Analyzes your product info to identify applicable standards.
AI Compliance Suggestion: Reviews documentation to suggest improvements or evidence.
AI Compliance Analysis Report: Generates a full gap analysis and remediation report.
The table below outlines how each feature accelerates your evaluation:
Feature | Purpose | How it Works | Key Benefit |
AI Relevance Check | Scoping & Standards | Analyzes product details like connectivity and intended market to recommend specific certification criteria. | Eliminates manual filtering; you focus only on the controls that apply to your IoT device. |
AI Compliance Suggestion | Real-time Guidance | Reviews uploaded documentation and responses to suggest improvements or clarify evidence needs. | Helps you bridge documentation gaps and build a stronger submission file efficiently. |
AI Compliance Analysis Report | Laboratory Evaluation | Processes all submitted data to generate a summary report including readiness scores and gap analysis. | Note: This feature is specifically for Labs to continue evaluation; it is not intended for manufacturers or vendors. |
Step 5 — Customize Notification Preferences
Scroll to the Notification Preferences section. Use the toggles to decide when you want to receive alerts for actions like being invited to a workspace, status changes, or when reports are ready.
Note: The header "Vulnerability" in this section acts as a general category placeholder for all notification types.
Key Notes (Updated)
IoT Focus: These tools are optimized for IoT-specific schemes like EN 18031, ensuring your hardware and software meet rigorous security requirements.
User Permissions: While Manufacturers and Vendors utilize the Relevance Check and Suggestions, the Analysis Report is a specialized tool used by the Lab to finalize the evaluation process.
Background Processing: The AI Compliance Analysis Report can take up to 24 hours to generate. You can safely close your browser; the system processes the data in the background and will notify the lab via email once the report is ready.
Subscription Required: Access to these AI features is tied to specific CyberPass subscription tiers.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Fix |
I enabled the AI features, but I don't see any suggestions. | Ensure your product information is fully entered. The AI needs a baseline of data to perform relevance and compliance checks. |
I am not receiving email notifications for my reports. | Return to Notification Preferences and ensure the "Report Delivered" or relevant status toggles are switched ON. Also, check your spam folder for emails from the CyberPass domain. |
